First off I would like to introduce myself, my name is Phil Colwell and my wife Isabelle and I have recently moved from the East Coast to Petawawa , Ontario to fulfill a military commitment.  The last year has been a lot of work in regards to getting through the first major move of our lives.  I am sure any home owner, especially a first time buyer can attest to the fact that making the largest purchase of a lifetime is an extremely consuming experience time wise, financially and emotionally.

Throughout the entire ordeal there have been many hours spent meeting with real estate agents, contractors, decor consultants, lawyers and many more individuals involved in the grand process.  For the most part it has been a very informative experience in seeing how these individuals conduct themselves in the way they go about business, mostly professional, sometimes questionable and almost always standard in terms of meeting what they advertized, but not going beyond.  However, there has been like most scenarios an exception.  In this case it has been our mortgage broker A.J. Green.

A.J. went above and beyond in his efforts working for us from the very first time we spoke. Looking back there was not a single aspect that lacked “know how” or detail on his side of things.  On top of A.J knowing his job inside out, he is also very skilled in the sense that he is able to explain things multiple ways all very clearly and in easy to understand terms for first time buyers like ourselves.

During the entire process A.J. was always quick to answer any questions we had as well as offering insight and alternative routes we would not have otherwise seen.  A.J. worked tirelessly to cover all lenders and all rates, not just the few “big guys”.  In due part he was able to get a rate that we would have never and I mean never dreamed possible.  He made himself available at all hours of the day, always responding immediately to messages and e-mails which is a true testament to the dedication this man has for his job.

A.J. also on his own accord, 7 days prior to closing called the lender, builder, real estate agent, Brookfield Relocation Services and the lawyer just to ensure that there would be no issues upon closing. This just illustrates one of the many instances of A.J. going beyond what is required or expected of a mortgage broker.  His passion and enthusiasm for his job is clear to see by his actions.  He made this very stressful process into a pleasant experience.

My wife and I both agree that we have hit a home run when it came to finding a great mortgage broker.  It is absolutely true that A.J. works for his clients and not the lender.  Anyone in the market for a mortgage would be very fortunate to have A.J. working for them.  When we get posted again in the future we are hoping to stay in the province of Ontario and will without a doubt be using A.J. Green.

In closing we will always be thankful for all his time and effort he afforded to us during this process.  As such I feel that Dominon Lending Center should be aware of his effort and dedication to his clients.  He is definitely an ideal representative for the company.
